I’m sitting in the brightest sunshine sipping an apple cider and taking in all the Springtime vibes. This weekend we switched our clocks an hour ahead ushering in longer warmer days and with that, a few changes in my makeup routine. Autumns are for deep berry and brick toned shadows and lips. Winters are all about jewel tones, metallics and shimmer. I picked up a few things on Clarins.ca this week; bronzer, coral blush and the new SOS Colour Correcting Primers.

Clarins S.O.S primers come in 8 shades and were created to conceal and correct skin imperfections like dark spots, redness, under eye circles & dullness. I picked up the Peach and Green Shades (for dark sun spots and redness). They are meant to be worn under foundation or tinted moisturizer.

Clarins is currently offering a 6 piece skin care set for free with any $50 order (just use code GLOW21 at checkout) as well as 2 free sample of any of their products, so I ended up with a lot of goodies to try. Who doesn’t love free samples?
I purchased the bronzer in Sunset Glow and a Joli Blush in the shade Cheeky Peachy for my collection. For this makeup look I used the bronzer for my contour as well as my eyeshadow. I like how doing a monochromatic look ties everything together and looks natural and fresh, perfect for Spring!
I started by cleansing and moisturizing my skin with the 6 piece set.: Cleanser, toner, eye cream, face cream and neck cream.

I applied the green shade on the sides of my face and forehead (where I have sun damage from years living in South America not using SPF – big no no). Then I put the peach shade around my nose and on my cheeks. The coverage is very subtle but once my CC cream went overtop my skin looked really even.
