Happy May!  After an unusually hot day for spring, I sit in bed next to the open window. It’s 10:13pm and a sudden thunder storm has broken pouring fresh rain that drums the leaves of the trees outside.  The breeze much cooler than the stale heat from the afternoon, floats in with the petritchore aroma of the earth mixed with the sweetness of  night blooming flowers.
