Easy Christmas Peppermint Fudge

Last year I made this peppermint fudge for friends and family and it was a hit! Best part, it’s SO easy and quick so if you’re looking for a sweet treat (and don’t want to commit to hours of baking, something I loathe), this recipe will be a favourite for years to come.

You will need:

  • 3 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips ( I bought a mix of dark, milk and white chocolate chips)
  • 1 can Eagle brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 8 whole Peppermint Candies, Crushed (put them into a ziplock bag and pound them with a rolling pin. That’s what I did)
  • a pan lined with aluminum foil sprayed with nonstick spray. Pan can be about 8×8

Combine the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk in a double boiler over medium heat.

Heat until chocolate chips are melted, about 5-7 minutes. Stir until smooth, then immediately pour it into the foil-lined pan. Use a spatula to smooth the surface, then sprinkle the crushed peppermints overtop.

Refrigerate for 2 hours, then turn out onto a cutting board and cut the fudge into small squares.

That’s all folks.  Enjoy and Happy Christmas!

Jennifer
